Immerse yourself in a magical world of of kings, queens, knights, and nobles at the Texas Renaissance Festival. Houston hosts the country's largest Renaissance fair, where visitors can enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with enchanting period costumes, fanciful food, fun games, and other thrilling festivities! Rent a costume or explore the artisan workshops and craft vendors in the vibrant New Market Village. Fill your belly with traditional English fare and festive mead wine at the King's Feast. Enjoy live music, magic, acrobatic, and juggling performances on 20 different stages. Let the kids ride the ponies, play Renaissance games and learn to sword fight. Celebrate in 16th-century English style at the Grande Marche Parade and the Royal Fireworks show. Running for just 8 weekends each fall, the Renaissance Festival host more than 500,000 guests every year in Texas.
Admission tickets are $30 adults; $15 children (5-12); $19 seniors (62+). Children 4 and under enter free. All kids 12 and under enjoy free admission on Sundays.
Open from 9am-8pm on select weekends in October and November. Last gate entry is at 6pm.

What time of the year does the festival take place?
The Texas Renaissance Festival runs for 8 full weekends each fall. The next Texas Renaissance Festival is scheduled for September 30-November 26, 2017. If you're visiting Houston area during the spring, the Texas Renaissance Festival hosts an intriguing Middle Lands event that includes live music and Cirque-style entertainment.
